With decades of combined experience in the interior design, travel, branding, and remodeling industries, it only makes sense that we’d be vacation rental hosts.
But that wasn’t the plan.
The thing is, at home really is our favorite place to be (in fact, we got engaged on a lazy Sunday morning, right in bed).
So when we found our dream house, we jumped at the chance to buy it and spent months transforming her into her full potential.
We expanded the master bedroom to let in tree lined views from every angle, knowing there was still plenty of room for guests and future children in the other rooms. We bought a dining table for ten, imagining the memorable dinners we’d host. We dreamed of the afternoons we’d spend with friends and family on the 2,000 SF deck, or the evenings cozying up for a bonfire under the trees, surrounded by fireflies.
Can we be honest though? It started to feel lonely… because right now it’s still just the two of us.
Then the vision came to offer our secluded haven to those visiting Charlotte, hosting celebrations, or simply needing to escape the city for a few nights.
We know that our genuine love for this house and appreciation of thoughtful amenities will make this vacation rental stand out among the others.
So, that’s our little story.
House of Holly was supposed to be our new home, but we decided it was too special to keep to ourselves.
